Items For Sale
Are all your Items Second Hand?
Absolutely! All our items are retro, vintage or antique, so please remember they will have been used previously. We have tried to make note in our descriptions and through the photographs provided of any obvious signs of use (chips/cracks/scratches etc.) so please read/view these before purchasing and feel free to get in touch if you have any specific questions, we’re always more than happy to help! And remember, buying something pre-loved is not only good for the planet, but far more interesting and exciting than something brand new and mass produced.
How do I know how big an item is?
Each of our items has dimensions listed in their description, these are as a guide and may not always be 100% accurate (though we’ve tried our best!), but if you’re unsure again, please feel free to get in touch with any queries.
Delivery & Returns
Where do you deliver to?
Delivery on all items is priced within the UK only. Please contact us if you would like to request delivery outside of the UK.
Can I arrange to collect my order?
Absolutely! If you would like to collect your item(s) personally or arrange your own courier this is also possible, please feel free to contact us.
How much will my delivery cost?
All delivery items are at an additional cost and have been priced competitively as possible.
All small to medium items, accessories and gifts are delivered by royal mail. The postage/delivery cost is calculated based on weight and will be shown when you place your order.
For large items and furniture we offer delivery for between just £5 and £20 across the North East of England, depending on item size and delivery location. All other UK delivery costs (on request) will be calculated by distance from ReNewed head office to delivery address and are delivered by a specialist courier service which includes placing them in your home (unless agreed otherwise).
For reference… once we or our courier partners confirm a delivery date with you and should you then cancel the confirmed date/time slot a re delivery charge of £40 will be incurred and need to be met by the customer.
When will I receive my order?
Delivery is usually within 14 – 21 days if your item is in stock. Please refer to our ‘Terms and Conditions’ regarding items that are being specially commissioned. Once your item is available we will endeavour to deliver to you as soon as possible and we will keep you informed and updated with progress and anticipated delivery dates in advance.
Do you accept returns?
If for any reason you want to return your item(s), as long as they are not damaged after delivery, we are happy for you to return your item(s) up to 7 days after delivery and offer a refund, please note your initial delivery cost cannot be reimbursed and return delivery is at your own cost. Commission or custom pieces are not eligible for returns.
Commissions
How do I request a commission item?
Just get in touch! Ideally fill out the form on the commissions page, or fill out the contact form on our website, or email us directly and we’ll reply as soon as is possible to discuss your requirements.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, after discussing your requirements and your budget, we will ask for a 50% deposit. The remaining balance will then be payable once we’ve completed your project.
What if what I want doesn’t exist?
We’ll work with you to browse ideas and designs, based on our experience and knowledge to ensure that what you’re commissioning is achievable and will endeavour to source the perfect item - Then we’ll make it happen for you!
Can I cancel my commission piece?
You can, if you cancel within 3 working days, then your deposit will be refunded to you, after this time we will have likely sourced and or started work on you item, if this is the case then your deposit would not be able to be be refunded.
Will you deliver my piece to me?
We can deliver your item anywhere in the North East for a £10 fee, or you can collect the item from us. If you live further afield we can work with you to arrange an alternative delivery service (fees will be payable by the customer).
