We’re in love with this Scandinavian mid-century rocking chair and it’s amazing makeover. The original damaged and peeling varnish was stripped back, before any loose sections were repaired and refixed. Then all cracks in the dry, damaged seat base were filled before sections to be left bare wood were then carefully masked. The rest of the wood was primed and then finished with Teknos futura aqua 20, in the stunning deep blue/grey, shade to give a hardwearing, factory finish that is sure to last. Finally, the masking was removed and the remaining bare wood treated with Osmo top oil to ensure a beautiful lasting finish.

This console table came in looking dated and shabby with is black exterior and legs, and though we loved the front of the drawers, we felt they needed new lease of life! The carcass was spray finished with Zinsser Allcoat Satin tinted to 'On The Vino'. The drawer frames were then repaired and finished with Zinsser Allcoat Matt tinted to 'Gothel' to brighten them up before Graham & Brown’s Allure wallpaper was applied to the interior bases, pattern matched through the drawers to give full cohesion between each and protected with varnish. Finally, the drawer fronts were cleaned off and protected with two coats of Fidde’s Hardwax oil to make them super durable and to protect the wood underneath. The legs and handles were spray painted with brushed gold to finish the look - all ready for it’s new home!

A stunning ReNewed chest of drawers. Carefully stripped back, then Re-finished using the latest spray technology for a flawless look, in a durable teal paint, with a metallic nickel trim. The remaining wooden surfaces were then hand finished with an extra durable wood stain, with a contrasting red wood tint and Wilson Chinese Dragon wallpaper applied to the two main drawer fronts, sealed with a durable matt varnish. The existing hardware was replaced with beautiful, tactile, diamond knurled nickel t-bar handles for a luxury finish.

A beautifully restored mid-century Myer sleigh coffee table. With it’s slightly upturned table top and tapered legs giving it a real retro vibe, this previously “upcycled” table needed to be stripped back and carefully treated to enhance the wood. We then chose a lovely grey to spray sections of the framework in a contemporary design. Originally made in the 1960’s in solid elm and beech - a design classic!

Two mid-century wooden sculpture tripod stands, each amazingly carved from one piece of wood. With two stunning brass trays, with eastern patterned designs. We’ve given the trays a little polish, but not too much, so that they still have the wonderful patina that comes with their age. We've transformed this original WW2 ammunition crate, circa 1944, giving it some much needed tlc with a coat of protective wood stain. We've then added some industrial style hairpin legs and lined it with a waterproof fabric to create a totally unique plant stand. A definite talking point for any home! (Please note, although we have given it some much needed care and attention and removed any very sharp nails/metal where possible, so as not to spoil the integrity of the crate, there may be some rough/rusted metal edges)

A fantastic see of three nesting solid wood tables with rustic metal rivet detail, given a new lease of life by Martin at ReNew. He painstakingly removed all of the original thick, dark varnish, then charred the tops using a blow torch. The surface charring was then buffed back using a wire brush and sanded with a fine grit paper to reveal some of the rich amber and natural wood tones beneath. To finish them, all of the surfaces were then treated with two coats of Osmo top oil, to give a hard wearing, water repellent and food safe coating, perfect for everyday use.

This dainty little child’s bookcase was a dull dark brown wood, but with we’ve transformed it into the perfect little bookcase for any child’s room or playroom. The clever folks at ReNew used their spray technologies to give it a perfect factory-finish in Lulworth Blue, that will stand the test of time (and little hands - yes, you can wipe it clean!) There are two shelves to fill with stories and a lovely little cupboard, with a simple embossed floral design. To finish, we’ve added a lovely new small hexagonal doorknob, the perfect size for little hands.

This beautiful French oval shaped occasional table, with stunning scalloped edges, had the old paint and varnish stripped using dustless sanding equipment to flatten all surfaces and damaged sections of legs and tabletops repaired and filled. It was then primed and finished using a spray system with ‘Mallard Green’ applied to tabletop and upper section of legs, a high sheen black applied to under table and legs to give a mirror finish, then metallic gold applied to feet, with each colour being blended into the next in an ombre style.
