This beautiful Mauchline Ware Isle of Wight Miniature wooden box dates from around 1880 to 1900. Crafted from fine wood, this vintage treasure features an evocative sepia illustration of Cowes—a renowned sailing destination on the Isle of Wight—gracing its lid. Mauchline Ware was known for creating souvenir items adorned with transferred scenic illustrations, making this box a delightful piece of Victorian travel memorabilia.

There is a slight gap to the back of the base but it in still in very sturdy condition - especially for it's age! - and there are a few scratches here and there, along with some etched initials on the top, however these only add to its charm and the stories it has to tell.
